Fontaine Construction was established in 1996 as a company focusing on land clearing, grading, and hauling in Greenville, SC.  Fontaine Construction then expanded to include utility work and road construction including drainage and curb & gutter. Fontaine Construction is also a founding member of Carolina Dirt Trader, a company specifically founded to support construction and grading companies to cooperate and trade construction material, construction debris, and dirt.

Today we pride ourselves on being the full-service site work contractor for big and small construction projects including the important functions of construction site selection, site testing, site planning and design, and not to forget we can take care of all the permitting in working with engineers and governing authorities to acquire the proper permits required. Our service area has expanded all over the Upstate of South Carolina including Greenville, Anderson, Pickens, Oconee counties and to the north to Spartanburg SC, Union, Laurens and more.

Our projects vary in scope and size, we enjoy partnering with developers and contractors to be an integral part of the construction team.
